Why? The new season of "Life As It Is "shows the emotions, challenges, struggles, joys and of parents in Bulgaria. Along with the participants in the show we search for answers that all parents seek regarding upbringing children, what should be the approach to children in different situations, the need for adequate information and support in these dynamic times in which "grandma's advice" sounds like a voice from a past epoch.
We show how and whether the State has tools to help and respond to various problems of parents within a country with a negative population growth (and one the most aging population in Europe). Tell the story of how problems in health, education and social services affect mostly children and how often it is very difficult to raise child in spite of these difficulties. In tracing the different stories we show as weak points in the country in terms of childcare as positive examples of problem solving and parents assistance.
The documentary is part of UNICEF's Early Childhood Development Project "Let's Grow up Together" in partnership with "Happy".
